Registration - April 1 - August 26, 2010 at Midnight

MEET & GREET: Tuesday, August 24, 2010, 12:00-2:00 P.M.
The Panhellenic Executive Council and Rho Gammas (Recruitment Counselors) will be hosting a meet and greet at Sewell Park. This event is completely OPTIONAL and gives girls an opportunity to ask any questions they may have about sorority life or the recruitment process. Come out and meet some Greek women and learn more about sorority life at Texas State University-San Marcos!

ORIENTATION: MANDATORY Thursday, August 26, 2010, 7:00 P.M. in LBJ Ballroom

Here at orientation girls will be given the schedule of events for the rest of the week. Panhellenic officers will go over the recruitment process and answer any questions the women may have. Women may attend orientation without being registered and if interested after the presentation, may register afterwards as August 26th, 2010 at Midnight is the very last day for Fall Recruitment registration!

OPEN HOUSE – Saturday, August 28, 2010
Women will be brought in groups to attend all chapter houses and visit with active members of each.

PHILANTHROPHY DAY – Sunday, August 29, 2010
Women who have both (a) been invited back to a house, and (b) chosen to return to that same house, will return. Chapters will focus their attention on their particular philanthropic activities and the women may participate in a craft or activity. Women may only attend five (5) houses this day.

SKIT NIGHT – Monday, August 30, 2010
Women follow the same process as above. Chapters will focus their attention on presenting skits or short presentations. Women may only attend up to three (3) houses this evening.

PREFERENCE NIGHT – Tuesday Evening, August 31, 2010
Women will follow the same process as above. This event will be a bit more formal than the others, giving the women a chance to get to know the chapter a bit more intimately. Women may only attend two (2) houses this evening. At the conclusion of these visits, women will confidentially rank their #1 and #2 choices.

BID DAY – Wednesday Evening, September 1, 2010
This is it! Although it is not guaranteed, most women will receive a bid to join a sorority on this day. Bids are revealed and upon receiving a bid, a woman will join her future sisters to celebrate!
